Red Line Synthetic 75W90 Gear Oil is specially designed to
provide the highest degree of protection and improved differential
efficiency. Red Line 75W90 Gear Oil contains polyol ester
basestocks which are the only lubricants able to withstand the
tremendous heat of modern jet engines, which provides excellent
lubrication even under extreme loads and temperatures. Additives
used in most petroleums and synthetics will decompose at elevated
temperatures, forming deposits which can seize bearings and wear
seals. The high-temperature stability and significantly reduced
friction makes Red Line Gear Oils far superior to petroleums and
other synthetics. The relatively constant viscosity provides higher
viscosity at high temperatures than a petroleum 80W90 or 90. The
excellent low-temperature flow insures adequate bearing lubrication
at temperatures as low as -50 F and can provide 10% better
efficiency during warm-up. The extreme slipperiness of this
lubricant helps prevent limited-slip chatter and reduces differential
temperatures 10 F-70 F in heavy-duty use. Supplemental
friction modifier additive is usually not required for limited-slip
differentials, but can be used if chatter occurs. Red Line 75W90
is used for high-speed and high-torque conventional and racing
applications. This product is not designed for use in most manual
transmissions, since the extreme slipperiness may cause gear clash.
The extreme stability of this product allows use for extended periods.
